Not Sure how to rate this
By Dennis Pechek
Not sure how I should rate this product..
The good: (5 Stars)
It mounted to my HK MP5 A5 22LR without an issue. Didn't over tighten the screws, just firmed them up (1/4 turn past the point where the rail claws quit rattling loosely) and the rail is solid. No need to use a Dremel on this one as it lays flat across the receiver. 22 LR isn't likely to loosen anything up either
A thumb screw or Allen wrench type scope mount works fine with this rail.
The bad: (1 star)
The rail size is not mil spec. It's a bit smaller and doesn't allow the use of an ARMS quick release scope mount. When mounted and the lever is locked down, the scope mount moves a bit front to rear and wiggles just a hair.side to side.
This same ARMS mount when placed on an AR 15 w/ mil spec rails, locks up and is solid (no movement at all).
So I'll split the difference w/ three stars.. $20 isn't a lot of money if you plan on running a thumbscrew or Allen wrench scope mount..
I may just run the cheap red dot I bought here.with the Allen wrench lock down for a while and then spring for the $90 mil spec rail from HK Parts..

This rail appears to be made just for the C 93/HK 93,91 clones. Fit my C93 like a glove with no play whatsoever. Appears to be a good quality pic rail. Solid and light weight. I've looked at A LOT of rails for my clone and have been on the fence about getting one for quite some time because I just couldn't find the one that did it for me. Well.... Then I came across this little guy. It is very low profile, which is what i wanted, and it is not an obnoxiously long pic rail, which is also what I wanted. Installation took maybe 5 minutes and that was me taking my time. The rail does not go over the ejection port and I like that since these rifles sling brass like a banshee. I will update once I add the optic I purchased and am still waiting on in regards go any co-witness ability. I can honestly say I am glad I made this purchase and saved a boat load of money compaired to all the other bulky expensive mounts that are out there. I hope this helps someone who was like me and just couldn't decide on the right picatinny rail for their HK clone. It's a made in commie land china product, but hell, what isn't these days?

MP5 Hk tac .22, this is the mount you are looking for.
By kingdom hearts
the product was a perfect fit, and arrived quickly and in good shape, I had heard reviews saying that some were having problems with the screws or the mount stripping out, but I didn't have any problems with it, and will be removing it just to put some lock tight on the threads and then putting it back on. any time you put steel screws in a piece of aluminum you don't want to get heavy handed with the torque. this mount was designed for Air soft use, but is going on my Umarex Hk 22. cal MP5 not worried about high recoil, not going to be getting slammed around in combat, just a good way to mount optics on an MP 5 without paying H and K almost 200 bucks for the same thing with an extra two inch extension to the rail. if you have this gun, this is all you need.
