Product Description
This is an APS film format negative holder for use with Canon Canoscan 8800/9000/9950 and Mark II film scanners (US Patent Pending). This was designed for use with the Advanced Photo System (APS) format. Both Kodak and Fuji stopped manufacturing APS film in 2011.

Specifications for the APS negative holder:

Overall: 199 mm x 55 mm

Material: Solid Plastic

Features: This holder features a recessed channel to hold your negative strip firmly which can help avoid scratches or trapped dust that other holders may cause.

This holder is designed to fit inside the stock 120 film holder that shipped with your Canon or Epson scanner. Use of an OEM holder may not be necessary with your scanner, but it aids in proper positioning and helps avoid blocking calibrations slots on the scanner bed.

If you purchase more than one holder from us, we will refund excess shipping charges.

4Some improvement needed for APS film
    By Flat Lander
This does fit in my Canon Scanner 9950f in the frame for the 120 film, but the problem is that as it is designed you would have to cut the APS film into 6 frames to fit it in. This goes against the APS storage advantage of remaining in the canister. I ground down the back side of the frame so that the film could slide all the way through (see photo). This way I can scan 6 photos and then slide on to the next 6 until done without having to cut up the film. I put the frame inside the 120 frame for my scanner and do the scanning (see bottom photo). Other than what I consider a design deficiency, it is well made, sturdy and does the job.

    3Okay, but ....
    By Gus
Worked well, but only after following instructions on YouTube and experimenting with it. No info provided that tell you to use the APS adapter with the Canon 120 format negative holder

    4A useful holder
    By Amazon Customer
excellent about holding films, but I regret that your holder doesn't fit exactly in the Canon OEM Holder : so there is a thin light band on the scan image due to a space between your holder and the Canon holder. In second, I regret to not have opportunities to set scanner to recognize automatically the 110 format and the aps format (I do know that Canon software seems to not be produced for that)
    The rate Price/efficiency is excellent
