Great starter kit for tight spaces!
I bought this for work, and I quite like it! Being battery powered is awesome, as I never have to worry about dangerous power cables running around, and I can even mount them directly on my camera hot shoe if needed.
They are rather small, so they need to be pretty close to your subject, but they are great for tight spaces and on-location work. They come with diffusion filters and small hoods to soften the light, and one of the filters will even warm the light to match indoor lighting. They are dimmable, which is a huge plus. My only critique is the bag is too big, and the lights and stands tend to move around a lot. I am worried about possible damage just from transportation. But if you toss a couple other items, and cinch it down, you shouldn't need to worry.

Looking for a starter light kit? This might be your answer.
By A. Hennessey
Received the whole kit, exactly as it is listed here. Two Neewer 216 LED lights. Two 6 foot tripods. Two rechargeable batteries. One Battery Charger. Two softboxes and a carrying bag.
All items arrived in a cardboard box together and everything fits, and is working.
The LED's are very compact and light, but don't let that fool you, it throws a powerful light for its size. When they are in a high setting, even with the diffuser, they are tough to look straight at. So if your subject is looking in the direction of the light , they'll probably squint a bit. The casing is plastic, as is the hotshoe mount. The light itself feels sturdy, but the battery casing and the mount have that plastic-might-break-after-a-while feel to them. The light can be powered on AA batteries or a rechargeable battery (This kit came with 2 rechargeable Generic Replacement for Sony NP-F550 batteries.)
The tripods are very light, but definitely sturdy enough to hold the lights. They extend up a little over 6 feet. You would want a sandbag on them though. Like the mounts on the LED lights, the the fasteners on the tripods are plastic and feel like they might not last through years of heavy use. NOTE: When they are shipped to you, the tripods have a plastic cover over the end with the 1/4 inch thread screw. You have to take that off to screw the light on to the tripod.
The softboxes work pretty well, but they are really annoying to actually get on the light itself. They have an elastic band that velcroes, but it took me a bit to figure out how securely attach it to the light. They are so tricky to get on, that I have this feeling they are going to pop off any minute. But they haven't so far while I've been using them.
The battery charger holds one rechargeable battery and has three different plug adapters, as well as a car adapter. The kit came with two rechargeable Generic Replacement for Sony NP-F550 batteries.
The carrying bag has plenty of room to fit everything in the kit, and has room to spare.
If you are just looking for a starter light kit, I would say you can't beat the price here. As I said, some of the parts seem like they might not take years of professional, on location, wear and tear, but if you have fairly simple needs, or you are just starting out in video and want a simple way to throw some extra light, this is probably a great bet for you.

Equipment is great but the bag doesn't seem to suit the kit.
Everything seems great with the only disappointment being the carrying bag.
It's just a bag. There's not anything custom about it to fit these lights and stands. It's just all loosely fit in the bag when it's packed so I kinda feel uncomfortable packing everything in it. Just doesn't feel secure in there when nothing is really locked down. Lots of room left in the bag when everything it comes with is packaged.
